    Stay Healthy with wine.

Subject: To those who enjoy a glass of wine

To my friends who enjoy a glass of wine.

As Ben Franklin said, "In wine there is wisdom, in beer there is freedom,
    in water there is bacteria."

In a number of carefully controlled trials, scientists have demonstrated
that if we drink one litre of water each day, at the end of the year we
    would
have absorbed more than one kilo of Escherichia coli, (E. coli) - bacteria
found in faeces. In other words, we are consuming 1 kilo of faeces.

However, we do NOT run that risk when drinking wine & beer (or tequila,
rum, whiskey or other liquor) because alcohol has to go through a
purification process of boiling, filtering and/or fermenting.

Remember: Water = Faeces, Wine = Health.
Therefore, it's better to drink wine and stay healthy, than to drink
water and be full of E-coli.

    Re: Stay Healthy with wine.

now you going to have to bear with the vagueness here...

there was a program on probably a year ago, it may or may not have been about the building of London's sewers. where a disease (cholera possibly) was in the drinking water (but they didnt know that at the time). and the only people not to get it (and what lead to them eventually figuring out where it was coming from - a dead eel in the shared water pump thing). were the workers who drank nothing but beer all day.

so there we go - beer can save your life

Fortunately these days we treat and carefully monitor our drinking water.

I don't want to take any chances so from now on it'll be Jack Daniel's and nothing else.

Have you actually looked at what you've posted? It's not true; it's not funny; it's not thought-provoking. Why post it?
