Twin bombs kill scores in Baghdad

BBC NEWS | World | Middle East | Twin bombs kill scores in Baghdad

I admit on the news nowadays I don't bat an eyelid when I hear about a bomb going off in Baghdad, but I was quite shocked when I heard some more details of what is suspected to have happened in this instance.

More than 70 people have been killed by two bombs in Baghdad, attached to two mentally disabled women and detonated remotely, says a security official.

I cant watch the bbc. Its suppost to be the unbiased and trustable source of news however everything has spin and is reworded to make it as shocking as they can.

was it always like this? or just turned american recently?
bbc reporters speaking in posh accents, to make it more beliveable? or becuase it was unbiased?

To know my tax/licence fee is ~30% spent on makeup for male news presenters :/

Euronews appears to be the least biased imo...

But as for the bombs.. nothing new

Whether its spin or not is kind of irrelevant. The mentality of these scum (would say people, but see above) is such, that they would and probably are proud of what they've done and what they continue to do. They have ZERO respect for life and for the freedom of life.

Have to be honest, I found Sky News to be the worst. Everything is about point scoring with them. I remember last year when Iran released our sailors, one of the family members of one of the sailors was doing an interview on the day they were coming home and I think she said some thing along the lines of "I'm not sure if they've actually landed back in the UK yet, I'm watching News 24 (BBC) at the moment and nothings been said". And the presenter said, well if you'd been watching Sky News you would of known because they touched down about 10 minutes ago....I mean what morons, its completely irrelevant to say it like that.
