WASD and the surrounding keys, the arrow keys and Shift, Space, Ctrl and the windows key at home as well as the num pad and a few of the Macro keys - This is over 3 keyboards though, 1 at work and 2 at home.

I seriously need to remove the arrow and surrounding keys from my G-15 and whack them in the dishwasher soon.

I gave way to healthy keyboard habits a while back also.

The worst one for me is mouse gunk, if I'm using the mouse a lot that sucka gets caked in some unearthly combination of sweat, fibre, etc. That is a disgusting little puppy.

Luckily my laptops keyboard just goes shiny than manky. Still, I've got pretty even wear out of it thus far (no gaming, so not using a single area of the keyboard).

It doesnt really show up on my G-15, + the Macbook pro is still too new for any sort of key wear, id imagine though it will be a nightmare to clean!

Mousewheel mange is grim & far worse than my KB, wich actually looks quite clean.

Yuck! Just checked my keyboard, not something I do too regularly. Think it's time for a clean. Worst offenders:

    Alt Gr
That menu button between the right hand Windows key and Ctrl
    Caps Lock
    J

It's made me want to go and wash my hands now! Eugh!

Mine are all completely clean on top... there's ordinary dust down the sides though.

Re: Which keys on your keyboard have the most dead-skin mange on?

I cleaned my keyboard the other week!

My god its amazing when you see a keyboard white again after the nasty grime that sits on it.
My spacebar, surrounding wasd and the ] [ # ' ; / keys were the worst.

Another thing I noticed. There's a patch on the right hand side of the spacebar that is smooth and shiny now, whereas the rest of it and the other keys are still a matte finish!
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Maybe the dirtiest keys are those you press sometimes, but not very frequently, so your fingers aren't letting stuff settle on the letters, but you leave some stuff on those dirty keys and it gets a good chance to dry on before the next time you hit it?

What do you do on your computer? I wonder if there's any connection to job?

I spend most of my time now writing code so I'm pressing all kinds of things other than letters, and all of my keys are still shiney clean (on top) after plenty of time for dust to get down in-between. Except maybe some slight dirt on most of the the F keys.
