    Things to make you frown

....bloody Windows auto update shut down thing. Spent the morning telling it piss off, that I didn't want to reboot now, then I got called away for ten minutes. Came back to find it'd rebooted, shutting down Photoshop and all the open documents without saving....

(I'm having an up and down morning today)

    Anyone else?

The way to get around this is not to answer yes or no when that dialogue box pops up and to simply move it as far down the screen as possible. I hate it too, they could have made it update the next time you boot but oh no.

I tell you what i hate - "Program synopsis not available" message on Sky, drives me cuckoo.

prehaps if they actually thought 'oh users may not want to reboot, why not have an option to finish the windows updates next time system is loaded up instead of doing a reboot automatically' might have helped?

Well I left the sink running in the bathroom this morning and the walls have only just stopped dripping downstairs.

Enless its a pleb user, who you don't allow to put off an update.

if you let users postpone an update, its essentually like letting them keep security holes on the PC. Generally shouldn't be allowed, which is why most IT departments keep the policy to deny non power/admin users from postponing the forced update reboot.

Surely just turn automatic updates off. Permanently. However if you HAVE to update then just do it manually, no?

Anything involved with microsoft office, but apart from that I cant think of anything else.
    ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

giving up the ladies any day then eh?

...the thought of being wrinkley, toothless saggy & baggy one day... let alone the sex. can't see it would hurt if you just remained good-looking (ahem) all your life then died an aesthetically pleasing death. then preferably just de-materialised like something off Star Trek - no mess. sorted.
