    Moth's

Just had one in here buzzing round my light bulb. Then he flew off down by my mains socket, I happened to open my door to go get a drinkin the hope he'd have flown off, when I got back my cat was sat on the floor eating it !!

He's now an ex moth lol.

    Re: Moth's

There was a big spider in my room the other night, and the same sort of one in the kitchen. I thought it was late summer before you got big spiders in the house?

New tactics? Them spiders is smarter than you think. And working with the Moths it seems.

    Wuss.

Sammy, my little cat from a few years ago was a champion Moth eater... you know the HUUUGE ones that are almost like birds. He'd catch them in my room in teh dark (like, hear him bouncing up the walls to get them), and all I'd hear is this crunching sound. his other delicacy was mouse bums.

    nice... not this sammy.

my cat will have the occasional small moth or spider - never caught a mouse* or bird that i know of. good cat for a veggie to have.
    * had a good try once though when we had a mouse indoors - heard it scratching behind every wall in the house til it finally surfaced. woke up one night because the cat sat bolt upright and slapped at me, thought she'd gone slightly mad but in hindsight i feel it was mousie capering across me in my sleep. don't mind a mouse myself luckily. caught it humanely & put it in nearby fields - came home & left the mousetrap in a biscuit tin in the porch temporarily & someone pinched it. ha ha ha! serve them right. moths also ok by me - spiders, no ta. & yes there are great big ones around & not just at the usual time - global warming, thanks a lot.
