How many of you can play an instrument? Either now, or in the past.

I play the piano, have a Clavinova CVP-309PE at home and have recently been downloading music onto it to play, intermixed with funky sounds. Granted I am no where near as good as I used to be, got out the habit. Thinking of going to a music school to pick up again. Managed grade 6. hated doing grades. Same piece over and over and over and over and over ... scales, arpeggios ... ARRGHH!

I also attempted the violin, managed Grade 1 Wooo! Gave up as the cats started to join in!

when i got to like 14 i stopped because i realised everything about it bored me to tears.

Keyboard - Grade 5 Merit, Didn't finish grade 6 as I couldn't get the hang of the theory exam.

I've tried the recorder, guitar, keyboard, clarinet and saxaphone at various points in my life.

I'm bad at all of them.

Hated it.

The music I had to play was rubbish and our piano wasn't very good.

Grade 8 level Clarinet, Grade 8 level Saxophone and I suck at the piano!

Grade 7 drummer, going back to finish my grade 8 soon and hopefully go into teaching.

Also a singer in a band, got chucked into it, going alright though I guess!

Grade 5 piano practical and theory, then i went to uni. Now i want a pair of pioneer DVJ's wishful thinking for a few years at least though

Wow some nice guitars there lads. I wanted to give bass a go at one point. For all those that gave it up, you tried it. I know many people regretting they never tried it out.
