Rant - MOONPIG!!!!!!!

i come home from work at around 4:50pm every night, shower, changed and such and relax and flick on the TV - almost certainly the first thing i see is the MOONPIG cards advert . . . . . . . its the most ANNOYING ADVERT IN THE WORLD yet they have enough funding to show their advert around 20+ times at prime time and multiple times between breaks of every show, its not only the fact that its on that many times but it has the most ANNOYING JINGLE IN THE WORLD!! and i really fail to see how such a biz company where you buy a single card with a small customization on it can afford to fork out for such airtime when you can make something like that though simple software or free online sites - Cant even the Moonpig'ers see that their advert makes panda's cry! seriously - its like nails down a chalkboard!

sorry folks, heading to a funeral to a person i don't even know at 12 and im fired up from caffeine, but please tell me there is someone out there that feels the same!

ahh man , i thought i was being silly the other day - when i was thinking the exact same thing, but yes i totally agree, it is very annoyings. and the cards look totally crap.

Yes, it's annoying.

Something else that annoys me is that advert for India with the older gentleman and the woman who looks like a blonder, older version of K. T. Tunstall. There's a bit at the end where they obviously are playing the tape backwards as the said chap is using a video camera and he looks to the woman and then *bwap* he goes perfectly to the viewfinder.

Maybe it's just me.

Also irritating are those anti-ageing ads which are making out they're doing women a favour when in fact all they're doing is making them more paranoid about their skin so they'll buy their product.

Bah.

And the old "Hastings direct dot com" ad used to cheese me off too.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! just reading that line about the frosties ad... the jingle is in my head now! why did I read this thread ha ha! The frosties ad is by far the most annoying!
