    Best football come back ever?

Spurs 3 - 0 up at half time, stunning goals and owning the game, Joey Barton of Man City who was booked during the first half speaks to the referee gets sent off because the referee is a stupid A$$.

But Man City down to 10 men in the 2nd half come out like a team possessed, you'd think spurs where the team down to 10 men, The whole Man City team from Keeper (who made several incredible saves to keep his team in the game) through to the strikers all worked themselves silly.

And what happens, 3-3 at 90 minutes, 2 minutes stoppage time, Surely Man City can't take 30mins of extra time, they have to finish it now, 91:03 on the clock Mackaan appears in the box to get a head on the ball and finish it off.

4-3 to Man City full time.

OMG i'm going to love rubbing this in the face of a spurs fan at work tomorrow

    Ha, same!

Spurs have a few best supporting actor awards in great comebacks, but dear god, 3-0 up against 10 men.... for shame!

Ref was right, Barton deserved to go. Anyway if he'd have stayed on the pitch, City most probably never would have won.

Having said that I HATE Keegan. A truely awful manager. Whenever I see him on the sidelines I shudder at the thought that, very recently, he was managing the national side. Utterly terrifying.

Geez, I missed the first half of that game. I did not know that City had ten men until now! It is probably not the best football comeback since Spurs are hardly world class and the second City goal was a massive piece of luck. It was a good second half to watch.

Keegan, he is an all right manager, good at attacking tactics, shocking at defensive tactics. Now if attacking Keegan and boring defensive Houllier were mixed into one hybrid manager that could be interesting. Although I rather suspect that Houllier’s weaknesses can never be overcome

    Yeah, THE FA BOWL!!

Good comeback, but not as good as when Man Utd came back from 1-0 down to 2-1 with both goals in extra time,in the champions league final to do the treble! Now THATS a comeback!

Goodness sake ab1385, the man utd comeback was good but this was 3-0 down at half time, down to 10 men, current form won 1 in 19!!!! and away from home!.

To come out and over turn a 3 goal deficite in 45 mins, No extra time to win 4-3, nothing in the modern era can match this!.

I'll remember this game for years to come, much more than the utd win against bayern.

I live with a Spurs fan and she came in all happy giving me stick, only having seen it up to half time (plus the sending off). How smug was I when I showed her the score on teletext!!

I'm a Spurs fan. I'm used to it.

It's not like Spurs haven't been 3-0 up before and lost. We lost 5-3 to Man Utd that time...

I only meant the Man Utd was better as it mattered so much more, and they got both their goals in injury time, I know Ill remember that match much more than the spurs-man city one!

I remember reading about an old school football comeback on soccer365.com, where a 10 man Charlton came from 5-1 down to beat Huddersfield Town 7-6. Now that is impressive.

After a quick search around I the found article again. http://www.soccer365.com/_365_Featur...21_60655.shtml
