    courier Qs

i want to buy an item of ebay, but the seller only sells with collection, or he will deliver in a certain radius of 50 miles around him. i am out of that radius, and he wants COD.

is it possible to send a courier to get the item from him, and give my money to him, and deliver the item back to me?

    Re: courier Qs

You're suprised that no one is answering between 3am and 5am?

To answer, I doubt it. No courier firm with handle cash for clients, so unless you want to arrange for an envelope to be delivered through a courier, then for the package to be collected - you should be able to arrange a drop, but some couriers won't collect from non-registered customers.

Either way it's going to cost you a pretty penny. How far away is this thing?

I think Sim's answer is best, though you may have a problem convincing him/her to meet you (a relative stranger) in a carpark to make the exchange.

    Re: courier Qs

you can get a courier to collect the item.. doesnt cost much more than if he were to post it himself.. but if its something big it might be cheaper in 30quid of fuel to collect yourself..

and just send the money online.. bank transfer or something..

I think normal couriers need an account to collect items (citylink etc..). try UK Courier Services, Express Parcel Delivery & International Shipping
