Why is it they never seem to be able to do anything right?

My first year application I was initially wrongly entered as a girl (I personally thought the facial hair was a giveaway I wasn't) and that my guarantor who was called Alec was infact Ale (and he was sent the letter confused why the adressee was Mr Beer)

2nd year application seemed to go ok, except now I cannot log in, using my ART ID or resetting my password as apparently I don't exist, last time apparently the place I was born in does not exist!! :angst:

Can't call them as I have just got back from work and the call centre is shut, and I have a feeling they have messed up my application meaning I won't get my bursary, which I need for a deposit on a new rented digs next year.

I still haven't got my money back from Paypal either (2 weeks now) and as such and missing ~£2000, which is annoying as I have bills to pay and would like to be able to afford food that isnt mush in a tin

Oh, and I hate people who ask stupid questions :)

I am pretty sure if you ring them up they should be able to sort it out. In regard to paypal dont hold your breath, they take their time.

SLC say that my stuff is fine

Need to speak to the uni tomorrow though

Remeber the SLC isn't regulated by the FSA.

This is how they get away charging the rates of intrest they do, i don't know about you, i can't for the life of me figure out how they arrive at the intrest figures they do. They don't seam to follow base rate (least not England's).

I think the SLC is the ONLY money lending organisation NOT regulated by the FSA.... me no likie.

I can see why you needed to rant! I definitly got a giggle out of that...not on your account but just how ironic it is :embarrassed:. Some companies just can not get things right. As for paypal...yes they take forever. It took me 3 months to get 200 back...they're not in a hurry to give money back that is for sure.

Paypal...as per T&C's can take upto 180 days to settle monies owed. And they ALWAYS use every last hour of it.
