    Poems...

    hello all

couple of nights back i was lin bed and i wrote 2 peoms and shared them with some people online and they thought they were good.. so i was wondering what u all though...

    ' Bed Of Thoughts'

I lay here in this bed of mine
Looking out at the stars devine
My mind is spinning with thoughts so deep
Thinkin is true beauty really skin deep?
There is no answer, there is no cure
But of this i am sure
In this bed i will lay
And in this bed these thoughts will stay

( and yes i know deep and deep dont go together only realised today lol )

    ' This World Of Ours'

Why are we here in this world of ours
In our little place amongst the stars
What is our purpose, what are our goals
we are but a world of wondering souls
we live each day to see the next
and do what we do best
to live and breath and walk around
to make a fuss, to make a sound
why are we here in this world of ours
in our little place amongst the stars

both written in bout 10 mins lol
    oppinions???
    cheers
    Wiffle

    Top man.

Still, as a modern man, not afraid to do all this girly, limp-wristed, saddo stuff, I too, shall write a poem.

    Just waiting for inspiration...

    Eureka!

I am the rapping shrew and I do not like you,
    It’s not because you're a Christian, a Muslim or a Jew,
I just don't like your feet, your knees, hips or legs,
But there is one thing I really like, and that's Cadburys mini eggs!

I am the rapping shrew and there's some things I need to do,
If you are interested, you can come along too,
I haven't got to go to work, so I have time to play,
You count to ninety-nine while I set fire to this hay!

I am the rapping shrew and I'm about to go to bed,
I'm really tired now, so its time to rest my head,
But if you try to steal my shoes, whilst I am dreaming,
I'll grab you by your big red ears, and nail you to the ceiling!

I am the rapping shrew and I'm catching fish today,
Some of them have big sharp teeth, or so my friends say,
If one of them bites me, whilst I am not looking,
Then tonight I think we can all guess, what I shall be cooking!

I am the rapping shrew and I've a hole in my sock,
When I noticed this morning, it came as such a shock,
I only brought them yesterday, from a strange old man in town,
I was happy at the time, but now I can only frown!

I learned a new word today, in a newspaper I was given,
The word I learned was really big - Antidisestablishmentarianism,
I'm not sure what it means, but it makes me sound so clever,
I don't think I'll get bored of saying it, for ever and ever and ever!

*Sound of single gunshot* *Sad music, probably involving violins*

I am the rapping shrew, what have I done to you?
Was shooting me between the eyes something you had to do?
You could have kicked my teeth in, or set fire to my head,
But now you've gone and shot me, and made sure I am dead.

    Thank you. *Bows*

Strip? That's the name of me 'puter! You're giving that bunch of circuit boards and transistors the credit?!

I wrote that... on the computer. It was a joint effort!

I've done another one! More of a simple song than a poem this one.

The Drugs Song or 'An Aspirin a Day' -- Just Another Cliché?

I love drugs, and drugs love me,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

I take drugs on the land, and drugs in the sea,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Drugs are good for all the fam-i-ly,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

I have drugs on my cornflakes, and drugs in my tea,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

You can find drugs on the ground and drugs in a tree,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

If life is a lock, then drugs is the key,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Indians take drugs when their in there Tepee,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

I take drugs when I hurt my knee,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Drugs make you think you can jump like a flea,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Drugs help you hear and drugs help you see,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

I love drugs, they make me as happy as can be,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Drugs make you poo, and drugs make you wee,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Drugs make you fly, like a wasp or a bee,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Drugs make Hexus users buy a new CRT,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

People think drugs are wrong and sleazy,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

Some people call me a crack-head, or even a junkie,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

But if you stab your dealer, drugs are free,
    Wibble-wibble-do-dar, wibble-wibble-wee.

This has been a party political broadcast on behalf of drugs.

Remember kids - drugs are fun and cool, and Vodka is just magic pop!

Disclaimer: Never take drugs, apart from Aspirin and all that stuff, and even then, always read the label, and eat your greens, and help old ladies across the road, and all that rubbishrubbishrubbishrubbishe.
