    Sweetcorn the superfood

    does anyone know what makes sweetcorn such a superfood? i read today that to check that your digestion is working properly to eat some and then time it till your body ''ejects it''

    so is sweetcorn a super tough food. why cant a human body break it down?will we see the spaceshuttle or cars of the future bring made of the little green niblets????

    oh 6 hours is the usual ejection period for anyone interested

    true but strangely i already knew that, another food fact is that footballers should really have bananas at half time as it only takes 7minutes for one to get into your disgestive system and for your body to get the energy from it. can't remember where i read/heard that though.

    I've worked in the 'Water Treatment' (i.e. sewage) industry for years n years designing screens, & it has to be said Sweetcorn is pretty indestructable stuff. And to a lesser extent peas.

    One of the worst probs is ladies sanitary products, which dont break down & end up clogging the system.

    Sweetcorn is great. Not only is it undigestable by mere humans but FISH love it and its my secret bait when fishing (sweetcorn soaked in curry power overnight )
