The chips, which belong to the Penryn family, are manufactured using the 45-nanometer process.
Intel has said that Centrino 2 includes a chip that combines both wireless and WiMax capabilities. Pioneer is offering both capabilities as options with the laptop.

Nice to know that there's still leaks in the market...
How long till these come out? couple of months maybe?
Estimated cost is probably going to be huge though. Out of my budget probably.

wow thats some power for a laptop, whats the release date of the chips?

believe this will be released in June. However, some pc makers may add a few weeks to that date in order to sell off their santa-rosa based notebook before launching so dont expect any major supplies until July.
I'm more interested in that wifi/wimax chip as the processor is just a c2d mobile with a few enhancements.
Atom btw, also launches in June - now that is a something to look out for.
