Although presumably you mean near-asia, as opposed to the far east aisians, which are of course famed for their inability to grow much facial hair at all
Be a man, terrify small children, grow one like a rhodedendron bush!
Have a shave you goddless hippy!

Hmm...
I'm thinking that a full facial beard would not really work, but some form of moustache or goatee could work. I'd need to see more than just your chin, and perhaps some comments on how you want to present yourself to the world and who you wish to attract to make a more accurate, complete and final judgement.

I'm a bit beardy, I find it really helps to repel women - well, that and my hallitosis, complete lack of charm and robust, boyish bad looks of course.
So yes, grow a beard. A big, ZZ Top style one and ignore anyone who tells you it's wrong. Those people work for the government and the lizard people who secretly control them.
A few months back I let it grow for a while a) to see if it would and b) to see what it would look like and had something not too far off from what mmh has in his pic in just over a month.
I shaved because the face itching was driving me crazy!! Gave me the opportunity to see what I'd look like with a goatee tho, which was certainly an improvement, but I'm more inclined to be clean shaven.
So if you've never grown one, have a go, see what you get, you might like it!
Had mine since I was about 15
I think I've been clean shaven about 3 times since then.. well apart from my soul patch
Recently grown the tash in as well, the mrs likes it for some reason
I said yes, if you've never let it grow out properly before, you owe it to yourself to at least let it go once. You never know how it may turn out until you try.
Mine had to go the other day, when the cat insisted on trying to lick it and groom it everytime it came near me, i decided enough was enough. but then mine doesn't really grow thick enough though, so when it does get longer it gets thinner, so i tend to shave mine off and start again when it gets too long.
Oh, with that, just keep in mind that if you do grow a beard there is the whole "sampson losing his locks" effect that you'll get if/when you have to shave it off for the first time.

I have a very thick beard that grows pretty quickly. I'm also bald, so after no more than a week I look like I have an upside down head. Also, for some reason, I have mid-brown hair but my beard is a mixture of very dark brown and ginger, which isn't really a good look.
I've really got to invest in a decent electric shaver, because I should really shave more often than once a week, and wet shaving is such a pain.
One of my colleagues goes for a totally shaved bonce and a long goatee. He looks really imposing, and I might have to steal his look TBH.
Edit: I forgot that I have a beard in my avatar. That's two weeks growth, and I'd just trimmed it a bit to try and look like the 'let's off road!' guys from The Fast Show. Minus the hair, I look even less impressive.
I feel your pain on the ginger bits in your beard.. I can't see them myself but other people do lol
I am afraid that is not a beard! The only problem with beards is that they take more care than actually shaving.
Not around too often!
buster seems a pretty good advert for beards (even if he's not 101, lol).
