Well I'm back from a trip to Paris in the middle of a heatwave which started the day I got there :).
Was nice though, just had to find air conditioned places to dive into, sitting around in 36 degree heat for any length of time isn't nice.
Took the compulsory Eiffel Tower / Seine Waterboat Trip etc.

Paris is a great city, been there a few times myself :)
If anyone wants larger photos then I'll email them. The nightime ones get a bit blurred though because I was on a boat moving :(.

Get a thing called a "Paris Visite" ticket. It covers the bus/train/metro use for the whole of Paris (or the bits worth seeing anyway). I think a 5 day pass cost around 50€ for one person, which is a lot cheaper than buying a ticket each day, and means you can go where you want when you want.Quote:

Other than that, do the normal Eiffel Tower/Boat Trip thing (I recommend doing both when it's getting dark, it's cooler and also they light Paris up very nicely).
For the g/f it's probably worth a visit to the Galeries Lafayette here.

I went last year, nothing but rain rain rain. But still had a nice time, and got to the top of the eiffel tower although i didnt gob of it ;). Got some pictures exactly like yours though, was a nice little break.
