Oh, and I've thought of something that is really going to get you mad
You measured a 3p usage over the course of a day, but how much did that measurement cost you?
What you nee to do is get a second power meter, plug the first one into it, then your devices into that. Take the lower figure from the higher and you can stress out about how much this week of experimenting is costing you!
my god! you could be investing this money! Or you could be sponsoring a puppy!
think of the puppies man!!!!!!
you can sponser boobs?
throw new ArgumentException (String, String, Exception)
Every day, two boobs on Katie Price are sagging. Sagging because they lack access to even the simplest of support systems, due to their weight they stretch any bra within 2 hours.
But you can make a difference, with just £10 an hour, you can help ensure that a fresh, properly formed support is supplied. LiftingUp is a Bahamas registered bank account, which relys souly on the support of caring citizens to help give a lift, to some of the more deprived sagging boobs. For just £10 an hour your boobs will write to you, emotionally blackmailng you into more money, whilst making it seam like your actually making a difference.
Please give just £10 an hour, or what ever you can afford, and give a Lift.

I bought a meter like the one you have a couple of years ago and it startled me how much extra power my PC used when it was overclocked and running a game and folding. I've pretty much stopped folding now. I used to have 14 PC's and numerous servers folding at work to,I've stopped those as well because of the environmental concerns.
It'd be interesting to see how much money/environmental cost something like SETI has cost over the years.......
Still, compared to the cost of running your car your electric bill will always be a drop in the ocean (until you get an electric car )
The PC, monitor and speakers, all are OFF with their own buttons, use this electricity. Once this week is up, I'll be switching them off at the wall, but unitl then, I'm showing everyone how much waste occurs when you think it's OFF.
Cos more often than not, it AINT OFF.
Total cost now is £1.53, and it's not been "on" since yesterday evening. Not a frame has flickered across the monitor,.....
that's a ot of electricity for totally nothing.
The meter uses no electricity, as it runs off two little batteries.
This meter will save me the £10 it cost in less than a year just on my PC and TV.

This is bunny and friends. He is fed up waiting for everyone to help him out, and decided to help himself instead!
well precisely, and to be honest, what is HEXUS for if not for us to help everyone?
It's what "community" means, at it's very heart.
I could do this, and not tell a soul, but I've grown up with sharing this kind of thing, and HEXUS is the ultimate "make a difference" website.
This is simply the amateur version of a graphics card review. It tells you what you can make a difference with, without you spending your dough and then losing it with a wrong decision.
Tbh it'll save more than a tenner per year guys. Easily. I'm only doing this on my PC, but Sair has one too. In fact, she has two. One gets used once per week, for gaming or film editing, as it's more powerful than her P4 that she uses day in, day out. BUT.... just unplugging that PC when it's not being used will save a few pounds per year.
Amp in the living room, and CD player too, both unplugged now.
