    Re: So, who's working today?

Glorious day....slept in, drove across to Carluccios in Ealing for breakfast, read the paper. Took the kids and grandparents to the V&A, had to park at the Serpentine meaning a beautiful walk down through the park. Spent a chilled couple of hours wandering around the V&A and about 45 mins watching the son and daughter paddling in the courtyard pool (much more fun than the stuffy exhibits for them I think) and now we're back at the house.

Just sorting through a few of the pics from today, and then I'm going to go downstairs, fire up the BBQ and set to destroying a large selection of meat. Probably make up some ice tea and just enjoy the rest of the afternoon....ahhh, bliss...

    Re: So, who's working today?

BBQ was great, now settling down for an evening in front of the TV. Was going to go and see Iron Man, but think I'll save it for later in the week. Commiserations to all who worked today.

Take some comfort from the fact that next time it's a gorgeous Saturday or Sunday, I'll be stuck inside working.

    Re: So, who's working today?

Yesterday I walked from Peel to Sartfield, just past Jurby Head. 15 miles in total, the last 8 of which on the high tide line of the beach, which is not at all consistent in solidity, and therefore my calves are KILLING me. I may also have hurt my achilles (but it should be ok). Great fun, would have been much better if we could have seen more than 50 feet in any direction. Today was many more miles of the beach, followed by ice cream in Ramsey. We could see where we were going today also. Nice.
