i wouldnt watch that crap lol
if the tv is on its always on a different channel so i dont up the viewing count by mistake
Ha!
I've now found a bonus for being stuck in Nigeria for 8 of the next 10 weeks
I watch it regularly ...... when I turn onto C4 accidentally, and then only for as long as it takes me to scrabble around and find the remote, and not a nano-second longer.
Series 1 was moderately interesting. Series 2 was dire. Series 3 was something that could be used as an extreme tirture in the lowest circle of hell, and it's gone downhill since then. If the Americans in camp XRay wanted a non-physical method of torturing infoout of terrorist suspects, give them a TV than only shows repeats .... no, thinking about it, repeats are too cruel and inhuman .... limit it to new episodes of BB.
As soon as it changed from something half-resembling an interesting social experiment to a vehicle for the self-aggrandising plans of a bunch of zero-talent pretentious fame-seeking no-hopers, it lost any appeal for me at all .... except perhaps as a distraction technique for taking my mind off a severe toothache.
So in answer to the question, that'll be a "not me" then.
I am not, as perhaps is evident, a fan.
I never thought I find a reason to envy you on that point. Live and learn.
Big Brother is nothing but a load of horse manure.

Reminds me - I wrote an interesting blog on myspace, and it's still relevant:
I don't know about you, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first series of BB. It was genius TV. A bunch of normal people, living their lives normally, with people they don't know.
It worked, because they didn't know what would happen afterward. They didn't know if anyone would watch - I know I wouldn't have thought that, they didn't know it would be a media hit, and they didn't know they had C list fame straight after.
So we had people acting as normal people. And it was enthralling.
Round the table with Nasty Nick.
Darren talking to chickens.
Craig being too nice for any human ever.
That Scottish blokes semi.
So why did it go wrong?
Series 2 was the first mistake.
The housemates realised what they were sitting on. And went in there with game plans, after plans, and acts. They discussed what they'd do after - they KNEW they were being watched. This resulted in crap TV.
Series 3 +
Big brother goes Jerry Springer.
To hell with people representative of the UK, let's put as many homosexuals, strippers, TV prostitutes, and "Wacky" people as possible.
Basically, it went from an interesting social experiment, to the ultimate of low-brow TV.
Girls running in the house instantly getting their t*ts out, discussing what they're going to do when famous, knowing Zoo and Nuts will chuck them a few quid for some pics, and that they can try and snare a footballer. Acting up to the cameras etc etc
It's a pile of steaming poo.
How to revive Big Brother.
If I was in charge of Big Brother I'd do this.
1) Recruit normal house mates.
We don't want Glamour models and strippers. We're not after shock value. Normal people make the most interesting viewing.
2) Tell them this.
"We're a small company trying to emulate Big Brother's success, this is a trial show - we predict very low viewing numbers and don't know if it will be released in the UK"
And then put them on the "Fake" big brother.
Which of course is the real thing.
4 weeks or so in. Let them know. Watch how they change.
Result? Genuinely interesting TV again.
Never had tripe, so I wouldn't know
EDIT: Well since KoolPC editied his post, mine doesn't make a lot of sense
I was service "mixed meat" the other night down here, and that was revolting. still better than Big Bother though....
saracen will try anything once

Quoted for truth.
It was an interesting experiment that paid off well, providing something that had not been seen before on that sort of scale. You could argue it was a social experiment.
However, with each "enhancement" of the series, it's become a collection of ludicrous stereotypes and brainless halfwits, with the exception of a few token "normal" people. Yes, I have watched a few episodes of every series since, to have a look at where it's gone at the moment, but it's still a freak show.
