Question 3 Kids Shows I can remember as a kid but can't remember there names

It's very unusual because despite trying to search all over the place I just can't find the programmes.
BTW these would all be around the 1988-1994 time - I think.

    Show 1:
Clue 1: Group of kids, living in a resort\holiday island in the Carribbean (I think) who solved mysteries like kids do.

Clue 2: The main kid had an American accent, and Pat Cash style hair style. His father owned the hotel I think.

Clue 3: The main adult who I think managed the hotel, was a British actor with white hair (still does). I'm positive he has\had regular appearances in ChuckleVision but the IMDB list is almost impossible to go through.

Clue 4: I remember watching it on ITV on Saturday morning and was part of a bigger programme. It was being presented by one guy stuck in a room barely bigger than the BBC's broom cupboard.

Solved! It was Runaway Bay! (At 0:20 you see the ChuckleVision guy!)

    Show 2:
Clue 1: 3 Servants, 2 male and 1 female - Don't think it was "You Rang, M'Lord?" I think they were dressed in Your rang my lord-esque style

Clue 2: They were tiny people - Don't think it was Land of the Giants or The Borrowers.

Clue 3: I remember then hiding behind a pillar and trying to sneak onto a steam train on one episode. (swear I didn't dream this!)

Solved! We think it's "The return of ther Antelope"

    Show 3:
Clue 1: Based around the time of the Ancient Olympics and set in Greece, it was about a roup of kids who go on a quest to find rings or something.

Clue 2: This was definitely on the BBC, I reckon just before the Barcelona 1992 Olympics.

Clue 3: It may have been dubbed.

There we have it, have I jogged your memories? It would be amazing if you can help

    Show 4: (requested by IBM)

Dubbed, about a kid who sold his laugh in exchange for the granting of any wish he could think of. Pretty sure it was german, and the bad guy lived in a very cool house on the inside of an island volcano. I must have watched it in the late 80s.

Haven't got a clue about any of those, but I'll add one to the list if you don't mind.

    Show 4 :

Dubbed, about a kid who sold his laugh in exchange for the granting of any wish he could think of. Pretty sure it was german, and the bad guy lived in a very cool house on the inside of an island volcano. I must have watched it in the late 80s.

Probably not the same show, but I remember a kids show about a girl trying to collect rings from various places, but there was someone trying to stop her. All I can remember were the names T-Shirt and T-Bag.

Lol, yeah! Didn't think of looking at wikipedia. Surprised it was first broadcasted over 20 years ago! Starting to feel older now....

I think you'll find that one was the legend of Tim Tyler - He was so thick it took him right until the last episode to realise that all he had to do was wish for his laugh back!

Another one I've been struggling to remember more about for years:

1: It was shown in the early 80's
2: It was puppet based - if I remember correctly in a similar style to Terrahawks (but I don't think it was a Gerry Anderson show)
3: It generally involved the main characters flying around in a large spaceship, and each episode they would arrive at a planet.
4: In every episode there was a bit where they would launch 3 shuttles which would fly to the surface of the planet and combine to form a giant robot (one being the head, one the torso and one the legs)

It's been driving me mad for years, and about the best I've managed is a few other people being able to remember about as much as me...
    Any help appreciated

I've one as well if anyone to to take a shot at it: The Tower of Pisa was a central theme, our heroes (two of them?) were travelling around collecting/solving something related to it. I didn't watch it in the UK, but I *think* it was in English.

Re: 3 Kids Shows I can remember as a kid but can't remember there names

Ah Star Fleet, a great show, i was thinking about this 6 months or so ago and ended up spending many evening going through those 80's cartoon websites.
    http://www.80scartoons.co.uk/
    http://www.grayskull.co.uk/
    http://www.80scartoons.net/
    http://www.backtotheeighties.net/80s-cartoons/

And then you want to start getting hold of the theme tunes (which i got about 30 or 40!)... brill stuff.

WARNING: Disappointment may lie ahead for some! You memories may not be that acurate!
Then again I really honestly would advocate buying the Dungeons & Dragons DVDs (£17 on amazon).

Anybody know what that cartoon was that was about these 4 cars with cranes and buzzsaws attached to them and they did battle in each episodes with hordes of bio cars that had like green stalks on top with maces and buzzsaws etc attached. Think there was a kid who drove one of the cars in it as well. Pretty sure it was on channel 4early on sunday mornings.

I remember show 3 somewhat. It was on the BBC and in once scene this blond bloke wins a big race, everyone cheers, then while he's on the podium he whips out a blade and slashes his Achillies' ankle so he can't be an athlete any more. There might even be people jumping off cliffs too.

Still don't know the name though.
