    Re: Lost bookmarks

I think they're saved in the user directory, like c:\documents and settings\username\... (or is it c:\users\ for vista?)

On Vista... profiles are stored in C:\Users\Username\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.
    In XP... it's C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\xxxxxxxx.default\.

@ Blackmage: For future reference, it might be an idea to read Mozzila's official guide to Backing up/Restoring your Firefox information

Also invest in https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2410 (for free) no need to keep backups

    Lightbulb Re: Lost bookmarks

CLEO is another good extension which I used to use... but it's not been updated to work with Firefox 3.0, unfortunately
