wrong, so very very wrong, that must hurt/itch like crazy.
I wounder if there are any long term issues thou? I'd of thought this might actually be healther in many ways than a tattoo as it dosen't go so deep.

well I so nearly bought one of those machines back in my baybus days (to laser etch acrylic windows)
and they are very precisely controlled - both x,y & Z axis the depth of cut is dependant on 2 factors the lasers power and the material . As far as cancer goes I doubt the wavelength of red lasers gonna cause that. seems like it would mainly do temp marks on skin if use as per video. but a higher power could be more damaging/permanent.

I would be far more worried about them not wearing eye protection... from the safety side of things.. visible lasers cant cause cancers.. worst they can do is burn/cut your arm off...
