It definitely got better as it went on... I just about turned it of as soon as that first woman came on, but once it got to the final rounds it was pretty funny.

Re: Largest obstacle course ever assembled (Funny)

I'm on Virgin Media 20mbit, its fast, never had any problems.

In my issue of Computer Shooper, which I got because of a broadband speed test, Virgin Media 20mbit was the fastestest.

    Virgin 20mbit - 11.78
    Be 24mbit - 11.16
    o2 16mbit - 9.92
    Sky 16mbit - 7.24

So they certainly provide a nice, fast connection if you want one.

What are the little scamps doing to 'killzing all the interwebs'?

My Virgins was killing t3h internets at a rock steady 4MB/s until the heartless bastards upgraded it for free to 10Mb/s. Now I am not getting my advertised speed as it is only going 8Mb/s. Where do I complain? I am t3h serios! lolzors

Isn't the Virgin comment to do with the 3 strikes policy?

That looks like so much fun!

What isn't so great is they obviously picked the weirdest British person they could to compete.

Re: Largest obstacle course ever assembled (Funny)

Well they are still the fastest connection you can get according to the customers who took part in the Computer Shoper speed test. No speed problems as far as I'm concerned, regardless of how many subbys they have.

Everyone knows the internet is slower at peak times, people so stupid they don't know that shouldn't be allowed sharp objects unsupervised, let alone a PC.

The 3 strikes thing... you mean if you break the law, then after being warned do it again, then continue breaking the law, they might stop you doing it? ITS LIKE LIVING IN NAZI RUSSIA!

    Killing the internet my arse.

Re: Largest obstacle course ever assembled (Funny)

The internet in general is slower the more people use it. If Virgin was slowing down that badly its 20mbit service would not have beaten the Be 24mbit service, would it?

Not my words Moogle, the words of Computer Shopers Broadband Speed Test.

Re: Largest obstacle course ever assembled (Funny)

problem with the Be one is it relies on the BT copper.

Since the clowns of three vallys water dug up my road, my spead dropped from the right side of 10mbit, to the wrong side.

Trampy old BT copper, from the olden days. Virgin Media uses fibre-optic cable, and cool people in its adverts.
