I would definately go with the greedy fat cat (Is that just a play on words there?! )
I could think of plenty more appropriate people to compare Brown with, Long John Silver for example, at least he admitted to being a pirate (or worse if you know what I mean)
Mind you I know its wrong to insult pirates in this world of political correctness, so I hope any pirates reading this accept my apologies.
It's probably not wrong to insult pirates.. it's probably just wrong to do it near a politician who will take offence on BEHALF of the pirates.
I mean - it's not as if people normally take offence over matters of political correctness (as in... all these "ethnic minorities" and women 'n' people I know well, don't care diddly squat about it... may not transfer hugely into a larger scale though.... it's open to debate. As always on this forum.)
And Gordon Brown being a pirate? That's insulting to the pirate... I mean - pirates had a code right? Especially Long John Silver... there's a reference to it somewhere in Treasure Island, but I can't remember it word for word offhand. Gordon Brown just seems to want to be a hypocrite and commit political suicide in as little time as possible...
EDIT: There is SOME resemblance between the Greedy Fat Cat and the other thing...

The fact that he was disrespectful to Blair, yawning and falling asleep during his speeches.

I bet he wishes he kept his mouth shut now.
I've voted Labour all my life, but not for this numpty !
