Have a read of the article.

It is obviously based on an american perspective but certainly worth a read anyway.

    I concur.

Just been out there for a weekend and it's an amazing place, pretty, clean, fair etc. The people are all very friendly (unlike the grumpy germans and austrians).

Tigs = looking for a house in swissland.

yes but they do have a habbit of letting atrocities go by, whilst banking all the money.

not really the total moral high ground.

Aye, shooting allied planes down during WW2 and allowing Nazi trains to pass through on the way to the death camps.

    Re: The swiss = awesome?

I like the fact that the Swiss invaded a country for the first time last year!

    Well, sort off.

    By mistake anyway.

Apparently they had to officially appologise to the Liechtenstein government for some of their troops wondering across the border while on exercise. I think it became a little embarasing when Liechtenstein said it was perfectly alright as they hadn't actually noticed in the first place

And how can troops just "wander" across the border? Did they get lost?

    Re: The swiss = awesome?

    I think so.

I should really dig out an article about it.

I heard about it on the radio when the guy that writes the Schott's Miscellany was being interviewed. It was his favourite anectode from the previous year or something

    Amen to that ...

Wonder what the house pricing is like over there and whether you have to do national service if you emigrate?
