What've you learnt today?

So far I've learnt that z-wave appears to be the 'new' thing that everyone is going to be buying and raving about in the near future.

I've also learnt that no matter how much cold water you drink, a burnt tongue will always sting for a few hours

i've just learnt what "z-wave" is

That no matter how many times you look over the same logs, used different programs to log info about everything on your computer, crysis will still crash your entire computer, without any valid reason no matter how hard you look.

I too learnt what z-wave it, and found it interesting that it uses GFSK, although for a device that needs to be simple, it makes sense.

I learnt today that customers are pillocks!

Got one phone up today to complain that we sent him the wrong product, because it wasn't the right thickness. When I asked him what he'd measured it to be he went "oh I don't know, I didn't check, it just doesn't look right". Asked him to check it so I can compare it to stocks and the reference list, and he went to off to get a plastic ruler when our products are measured in hundreths of a mm....

Gah!!!

i've learnt that drunk golfers are wandering around town, gerrard was having a party, it was a george clooney look-a-likey wandering around birkdale, he sounded like he was from birmingham.. and i can eat 30 chocolate doughnuts and 2 pasties..

I also learned that you can get the front forks and suspension of a harley-davidson and attach them to a mobility scooter..

pretty normal day really..

and also that bentley car alarms are ****ing annoying.. half a bloody hour its been going off!!
