    Talking Richard Madeley

Now that I'm off uni (and not working), I end up flicking through this show on C4...I've seen him being cringe-worthy in the past, but seriously, this guy has no tact what so ever? It's so funny.

They just had a piece on the show, where a guy has bought in film memorabilia (De-Lorean from BTTF & Indiana Jones Props), and he threw the Indiana Jones whip on the floor, while acting out a scene from the film with Judy, and making her drink from the Holy Grail...all this while the guest and event organiser who brought in the stuff looked on with a broken smile.

Frank Skinner had a stand up routine about Richard Madeleys lack of tact. Its world famous.

    Re: Richard Madeley

    The guy's an absolute eeeejit.

Whenever they have an expert in a particular field on, old Richard seemingly always knows exactly what they're talking about, and is always offering his own 'knowledge' on the subject. Most folk are too polite to tell him he's talking nonsense, but one chap, can't remember who, just kept saying "no, that's incorrect". It was fantastic.

The thing that annoyed me most was the day he was talking about parking. Someone was saying how difficult it was to judge how close you were to other cars (or something similar) and Richard said "That's what bumpers are for" and that supposedly you only need to stop after you've bumped the other car He then went on to reveal that he often hits other cars in this manner. Utter plonker.

The odd time I've caught the last few minutes of their program, she looks mortified everytime he opens his mouth !

    It's just awful tv.
