£10, may be £50 ... any one near £450 a week?
This person apparently spent half their take home pay on the amber nectar, a staggering amount which has lead to a few problems for the guy

that's some serious drink problem.
well, for me its like this, i wont drink for two weeks or so, and then go out and get wasted. I just buy cheap deals on larger (8 for £6 x 2) etc. it's called binge drinking apparently.
so i guess i spend my average in one go.
Do like the judges comment though
Have to say that I get worried by the BBC story (can't find link) where it reports TEENAGERS (like.. 13-18 yr olds) spending £100s on drink weekly...

So how much did you USE to spend for it to be at 25p a week at the moment?

In the last few weeks not much, maybe 20 quid over a month, but I'm on thin ice regarding money for Wacken Open Air (any more spent and I'll be in trouble of going broke over in Germany). Though I have left myself enough to get plastered everyday and all day when I'm over there, so all's good

The way I feel right now, never again.....
i usually drink everyday, 2 or 3 times a week i'll go to the offy and buy a six pack or a bottle of win or something. maybe a bottle of JD with a few friends at the weekend. so i guess about 30-35 then however much more on going out on saturday night. although i do drink frequently, i dont binge like a lot of people do.
Zilch.
I don't drink alcohol, and don't see the need to. It always surprises me how everyone finds drinking alcohol to be the norm. Every time I tell someone I don't drink, I'm usually asked "what, are you religious or something?"
I'm not religious, and I have drank on the rare special occasion, but I really don't like the taste. Furthermore, it's an expensive pastime and I'd rather spend the money elsewhere.![]()
I don't drink either, makes me do bad puns.
Saying that, so does air.
