This is not a serious poll, is it?

I mean, the current government is so bad that I do have to ask, just to be sure.

Re: So Who Would You Vote For If A General Election Was Called Tomorrow...

Zanu PF pulling 60% of the vote in the early stages...

Zimbabwe is currently going through a period of hyperinflation so bad that you can't buy a Lion bar there anymore, because by the time you pick it off the shelf and get it to the counter, the price has increased 20 trillion % on the label price, and it needs a new price label. By the time this new label is printed, the bar is worth more than the GDP, and another new sticker is needed.

This continues until the bar melts in your hand.

Thats the real cost of mismanagment of an economy folks. No more Lion bars. The WWF has warned that unless something is done Lion bars will be extinct in Africa within 5 years.

Its now so bad Mugabe has been forced to admit that within 5 weeks a gallon of petrol in Zimbabwe might be getting close to the price you pay in England at the moment, namely £1.4 trilllion. If that happens Zanu PF have hit rock bottom.

Simple answer : Put all Lion bars on the endangered species list, keep them refridgerated, and switch everyone over to M&Ms, Minstrels or Smarties as the they melt in the mouth and not in the hand as everyone knows.

Re: So Who Would You Vote For If A General Election Was Called Tomorrow...

77% for Zanu PF. A very agreeable result.

Labour beaten in a safe Scottish seat.

    Lost the local elections, badly.

    A Conservative Mayor.

Behind in the polls. All the polls.

A PM who is hated by everyone, including Labour voters, a good chunk of the Labour party.

Falling out with Union leaders, some of whom are calling for him to go, some of whom are calling him a prick. (probably)

A run on a bank, data loss episodes.

    Bottled election.

    Things can only get better.

    And the point is?

So labour will loose the next general election. So what?

We'll just sit and critisise the Conservatives when they get in. Then a few years later there will be threads about how bad the Tory's are.

    Life goes on.

Yes, but when Zanu PF gets nominated and succeeds, we wont be allowed to criticise or we'll have our heads blown off. Therefore, Zanu PF will be great!!!
