I cannot see how this is anyway offensive to gays. Offensive to speed-walkers perhaps... but not all speed-walkers are gay are they?
okaaaaaaaaaay.... whys that offensive?
surely the fact that it has been pulled to avoid offence to homosexuals is going to cause offence... as pulling it on those grounds insinuates that all gays participate in that action....
i can't stand the adverts in this country.. they are TOO censored... you can't get any ads that are worth watching through the censors... and if they do they get pulled for causing offence (such as THIS, THIS, THIS [i can see why this was pulled])
some people in this country need to get their priorities right and stop pussy-footing around and complaining at adverts!!

hahaha...that is a brilliant advert.
So who made the jump from Speed walking = Gay??!!!
Why has their been no complaints that the advert portrays black people as Snicker firing violent people who travel around on the back of a flatbed truck?
Quick, someone call the A-Team!![]()
I find it offensive that the Human Rights Group assume speedwalkers represent the gay / bi / lesbian / transgender community:
The Human Rights Campaign criticised Mars for perpetuating "the notion that the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community is a group of second class citizens and that violence against GLBT people is not only acceptable, but humorous".

I don't really see the connection between speed walking and homosexuality either. Though admittedly I've never tried either so maybe there's some subtlety I'm missing?
and well, not to sound childish but the last scene of the ad is Mr T shouting; "Get some nuts!"![]()

I think it might be that the speedwalker looks 'a bit gay'.
Anyway the complaint was made by someone in America, therefore by someone with a single figure IQ.

i can't see why that would be offensive...
If he'd said stop "speed mincing"?
Maybe...
i thin what this has proven. infact is that power walking and mincing are indistinguishable
