Christmas jobs are popping up and i'm thinking of applying.. so OiDs little plan of quoting something i said seems to be working (even though only sammyc, OiD and steve seem to have noticed it.)

well thats ok then JK, i'll try and get there next year.. won't have much else to do - shopmobility runs out of funding next Feb, so may have to close.. i'll have nothing to do except travel the country going to all these meets!

errr, don't be casting nasturtiums about any "claims". if they were unfounded "claims" then why would people keep turning up?

There will be discussions about the 2009 schedule but I've got a meet, a rave and a LAN to sort out first!

So, what's the current state of play now? Still meeting in the morning and making a day of it + Fireworks + nosh, or meeting later or what?

Meeting aboot 12-1pm at bletchley (as it'll be a longer day than first thought)

then after the fireworks pootle up the city for dinner seating at 9.30pm

Can anyone planning on staying for dinner, please let me know also? just to make sure I've got enough space at the table booked.

Has the programme for the day been finilised yet? My interpretation so far is: -

1200-1300: Meet up at BP
1300: BP + Fireworks (8 hours seems a long time to me, but then I haven't been before so it might fly by!)
2130: Dinner
2300: Supermarket for alcohol (although they close early-ish on Saturdays)
2330: Go round Rai's for drinking

I'm driving down, so what would be the best way to meet? Meet at your house and then go down to BP? That way I can drink during the day (if there's going to be any).

BP may start with lunch however and we can usually stretch that to an hour! Can meet later on if people want to! don't mind a 1400 start if we're going into the night shift! I need your input, I'm not dictating everything! (also means a nice lovely lie in for me)

We'll factor in an alcohol stop between the end of BP fireworks (2030) and going for dinner (2130) as rightly said, Tescos closes at 2200/2300 on a saturday.

yeah you can meet us at mine and I'll drive a rabble down (I get free parking at Bletchley station, so I'll split any other parking charges at BP fairly between all peeps in cars)

And that's as finalised as it's gonna get, yes.
