Well, it's a topic which is endlessly asked (mostly by all the newbies - even I did once upon a time)

Maybe we should add them in and then find a cheap 50p stripper somewhere that can be sent in the post for anyone that actually wants it....

Is it possible to bypass these post count thresholds??

Yes it is ..... if you're an admin.

But in general, no. They're either system-wide settings in the system setup, or defined as part of Usergroup/forum structures and either require manual overriding via the admin control panel, or for Usergroup and/or forum definitions to be changed so that it applies to all members in a qualifying group, again via the admin control panel.

So everybody knows, the rules, postcount qualifications, etc are all being worked on, the make them as clear as possible, and then they'll end up in one place, probably the FAQ link on the menu bar. It's just taking a while.

And so far as I know, sig sizes appear to be same rules to all

Size : - Signatures should have a maximum height of 80 pixels (inclusive of text and graphics). Where graphics are used they should have a maximum width of 400 pixels and a file size of 30Kb or under.

And I seem to be able to fit more in my sig now I'm hit lots of posts as well. Maybe the limit increases?

Too true, i only came to check a PC spec, but i'm browsing the forums pretty much all day, every day now

My job consists of running forums, amongst other things, so I have no trouble spending over 8 hours a day logged onto the Hexus forums.
