    Of course they make sense. They allow people to enter and exit a building without letting the elements outside in. In busy office entrances this would make a significant difference. An alternative is to have two sets of doors, so the first ones are closing as the inside ones are opening, cutting down on the amount of cold/hot air comming in.

    Lol I know their purpose, that doesn't mean they make sense...espeically when they try and eat your legs
