McDonalds have a website called make up your own mind, where it attempts to convince people that mcdonalds is real food.
I enjoyed this website as much as I enjoy pouring sulphric acid into my eyes.
However....
They made the mistake of allowing users to ask questions.
There are some absolute gems in here - which are made funnier by the serious "cookie cutter" answers.

Here's a few of my faves:
Question:
if you ate mcdonalds eveyday could you die
Answer:
McDonald's regards diet as an individual choice overall. The company also believes that its food is of good quality, and can easily be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
Question:
As you know, barpersons and beverage staff aren't permitted to sell alcohol to patrons exhibiting signs of intoxication beyond coherence and ability to make uninhibited decisions. Many scientific studies have shown, with evidence, that 'fast foods' are extremely unhealthy, and should rarely be consumed, if at all. With obesity increasing, is there a protocol in place to deny service to those appearing dangerously/morbidly obese? If not, why?
Answer:
Thanks for your very interesting question. Rising public and government concerns over dietary education and obesity is obviously a serious and complex debate and one that McDonald's takes very seriously. The company objective is to ensure that its customers are offered a choice of foods with full nutritional information so that individuals can make the decision themselves, or on behalf of their children, on what they eat as part of a healthy and balanced lifestyle. It is not the company's role to dictate what people should or shouldn't eat. (June 2007)
Question:
i like your food, it makes me strong. after having one of your meaty burgers i can ride my bike at several mph more than usual. do you add any special sauce as other burger places do not have the same effect. also do you accept euros in UK mcdonalds as i have a 1000 of them. regards!
Answer:
lad to hear that you are enjoying the food and getting that extra energy. The only special sauces you will find in McDonald's burgers are in temporary promotional sandwiches and of course in the legendary Big Mac. For the convenience of customers, McDonald’s accepts Euros and other foreign currencies in a number of restaurants, in particular those locations with a higher proportion of customers carrying foreign currency such as Waterloo Station and some of McDonald’s airport restaurants. (January 2008)
Question:
I've heard your burgers are made from poor people that populate the third world countries. Why not choose people from the over populated china instead?
Question:
Is it true that your burgers are made out of cats?
Question:
Is it true that your half pounder burgers are made out of what's left from the enemies of Martin Skrtel?
Answer:
No, All McDonald's hamburgers are made of beef, nothing else just 100 percent beef, prepared from whole cuts of forequarter and flank (similar to the mince you'd buy in the supermarket). All that's added is a pinch of salt and pepper after cooking. (July 2008)
Question:
i have a dutch friend who is very tall and bald. he says it's because of the growth hormones in the cows that mcdonalds holland use. do english mcdonalds cows have the same hormones? also, when you say your burgers have 100% beef does that include teeth?
Answer:
Cattle are herbivores and will happily eat plant material which is digestible. The Farmers and suppliers that work with McDonald's do not feed their animals on diets which make them ill. Cattle feed diets can range from grass and straw, to a variety of cereals, maize and root crops. Further, antibiotic growth promoters or hormones are also strictly forbidden by the requirements of McDonald’s Agriculture Assurance Programme (MAAP). You can get an inside view and more information by viewing or reading one of the reports by the Quality Scouts that have visited some of the farms and suppliers that McDonald's work with. Just click on the 'Quality Scouts' link on this site to find out more. You can also be happy in knowing there are no teeth in McDonald's beef patties. (May 2008)
