Nice food in Camden

I'm looking for a nice, reasonably priced place to eat dinner in Camden area.

Not anywhere Indian ( my gf doesn't like spicy food, shame, cause I love it)
Any suggestions?

Cheers

I havent been for a few years, but theres heaps of places scattered about the place, the majority of it is actually very well priced, Chinese, Thai, what ever you fancy really.

Whats your budget?

There are plenty of <£5 ish food stall places, problem is they're very hit and miss.

Theres a fairly good thai place, will kick in at £10 + £3 (dirnk) for a sit down.

One of my favourate restraunts in London is at Camden Lock, its called Gilgamesh, they have a specail set for £20 per head. But add in service + drinks, your looking at about £35 (they have fancy coctails).

There are also all the normal chain places.....

Simple, take a walk up to Inverness St, has some nice little places there. My fav is a really nice buger place called Hache. It is nice in there, not like a Mc D's or anything. If not check out a nice little Italian up the road from the Odeon on Parkway. It's on the corner up the road from the Odeon so you can't miss it.

For dessert walk down towards Kentish Town to a place called Marine Ices. Best ice cream place ever.

I'm out for dinner in Camden pretty much every weekend.

Ooh, Marine Ices really is great! Their food doesn't look to bad at all either. I last went there when Camden Market was on fire- a bus had also fallen into a big hole just outside! We actually left the really nice restaurant we were in in Primrose Hill to go for the ice cream. Mmm.

BUMP

Just a wee update and recommendation, I went to a place called Andy's that does greek food, in Bayham Street.
Lovely food, I'd recommend the baked lamb, just falls off the bone, perfect.
Cheap too, and they even gave us a nice post dinner Ouzo, for free
