Who to message about changing usernames?

I've PM'ed DR and Agent about changing my username so it matches my hexus.trust account but neither have replied.

So who or how do I go about this?

Well, either could do it but DR isn't the best bet for this. The best bet is the main forum admins, like Agent, Zak and myself. DR doesn't do much of that sort of standard forum administration.

But if Agent hasn't replied, it may be because he's busy, or because there's an issue (maybe with a conflicting username, or something like that).

I don't know when you asked, but give him a few days, then perhaps politely nudge him.

The same sort of thing will happen with me. If you'd asked me, it might happen straight away, or it might take days, especially if I'm away fora few days. But sooner or later, it either out to happen or you'll get an explanation of why it can't or won't.

Oh, and given that you've asked Agent, I'll leave it to him. It saves us both trying to do something and ending up treading on each other's toes.


And for anyone else reading this, yes, we will do it, providing we don't get inundated with requests for changes just because people fancy a change. If there's a reason for it, then fine. And even if it's just for a change, well, fine providing there's no reason to not do it. But when one person asks (publicly) it has in the past triggered something of a deluge. And while it only takes about a minute do actually change the name, checking out that's there's no reason for not doing it take a fair bit longer so it's not something we will just automatically do if there's a load of requests.

Well I'm in no particular rush to align my user name on hexus. Someone already stole "sleeyhead" in the hexus.trust section. I just didn't hear anything back and of course, it set my mind in motion about did I go about it the wrong way.
