    Spinning light objects

I am not sure where is the best location to ask this so I'll post it here. I'd like to find what the cheapest way (motor) to swing/spin a relatively light object (between 50-100g) such as a mini-glow stick on a piece of string (say 1 rotation per sec). Could I get away with a cheap travel fan for that purpose?

I think that could well be it

As for cheapness, sneak into a hotel or something and 'borrow' one of theirs
