But where does it cover standing in a queue in the post office for half an hour or more just to post a bloody parcel. Like I had to do today. And yesterday.

Does the episodes include posting peoples letters etc. to the WRONG house day in day out?! I regularly have to drop off my neighbours mail to them and the neighbours to another house (so on and so forth), who knows where mine has been posted to... :angst:
Postman Pat drops parcels from his gyrocopter... into a local lake and covers it up by claiming to have made a successful delivery.
considering the comments above, there must not be one person who actually likes the postman/woman :)
my postman is epic (actually he's Eric... but epic is close enough )
he's always nice and cheery, he knows everyone and addresses them by name, and if you're not in for a parcel he'll sign it for you and pop it in a safe place and leave a note saying where he has left it out of view (and he does assume responsibility if something happens to it).
he really is a top notch guy, couldn't fault him one bit :D
Postman is fine. Delivering special delivery parcels at 5 to 1pm, and evidently having more to do in his van isn't.
Neither is the strange move from 7:30am mail to 11:30am mail.
"It doesn't really have the post office in it anymore"
Yeah...that would be because they all keep closing then
Postman Pat, Postman Pat, Postman Pat and his black and white cravat. Damn he's gone up market! Where is poor old Jess?
When I was in secondary school the post would arrive about 8am. Now it can be between 10.30 and 1pm!!
Got some new headphones delivered today.....................at 7.30am!!! Now why the hell can't the normal post be delivered at this time?
Newbury - sh!t Post Office and there's certainly at least one thief in the sorting office, deliveries occur maybe 3 times a week round my way...........if you're lucky.
No I do not like my Postman nor my local Post Office.
Post used to be good when I lived in Bishopston.
Now I'm in Clifton, 2 minutes walk from the delivery office, we get post when they feel like it, and get post for lots of other houses too.
How the fook does he afford a helicopter?
Our usual postman (Dave) is a top fella. I've noticed - though I probably couldn't prove it - that mail seems to be posted only when it's a certain level. We have no mail for a day or two and then, suddenly, quite a bit avalanches through the letterbox.
This didn't seem to happen in the past and I could be being paranoid. (Who said that?)
