[Cat and Lister are playing Scrabble.]
Cat: Hey hey hey, I've got you now, buddy! J, O, Z, X, Y, Q, K!
Lister: That's not a word.
Cat: It's a Cat word.
Lister: Jozxyqk?
Cat: That's not how you pronounce it!
Lister: What does it mean?
Cat: It's the sound you make when you get your sexual organs trapped in something.
Lister: Is it in the dictionary?
Cat: Well it could be, if you're reading in the nude and close the book too quick. Jozxyqk!!!
should be fun... as long as it's not killed...
WE WANT MR FLIBBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All the best
Flibb
I heard about this. Fingers crossed its good :D
Yeah, i remember Red Dwaf right from the very first episode over 20 years ago.
I love Danny john-jules ! Great to see all the cast back again :)
Have to admit that looks good, but It had better be better than series 6 & 7 (and we don't even admit to the existence of series 8).
The best stuff was the little snippets that weren't even anything to do with the plot, like the Flintstones discussion.

in all probability, Wilma Flintstone is the most desirable woman who ever lived
smeg !!
Great! But past experiences of "one-off specials" haven't been brilliant. Like Only Fools and Horses and Blackadder. Personally, I thought the anniversary night (I think it was 10 years) on BBC2 years ago was excellent. Can't Smeg, Won't Smeg with Ainsley Harriot I think was my favourite!
Well spin my nipple nuts and send me to Alaska!
Hope these are better than 7 & 8 though, they really let the series down, was nice to see a return of Norman Lovett as Holy in 8 but his part wasn't used to good effect and was just basic 'stupid' holy.
Stytagm, why did you not like 6? I thought it was very good and many think it is one of the best series. Personally series 2 and 5 were my favourites (although choosing between them all is very hard).
Series 6 had pete trances sister :D
"you want to squeeze my bottom into a giant peach
Am very happy, but very nervous about this for all the above reasons.
Seasons 3 and 4 were the best, overall i'd say "Marooned" was my favorite episode overall.
THe original kochanski was great she was sexy but the series 7 version wasnt very likeable at all
If done well, it will be amazing, bit how do they explain Kryten putting on weight? :P
Where have you guys been, Robert Llewellyn announced this weeks ago in the states.
Being a fan there's probobly not much they could do i won't like. But it would be nice if they could get some good scripts and production values behind the team.
One thing that has got me enthused is a quote from Robert in the link.
Quote:
Two of them are going to be, like, proper episodes of Red Dwarf. One of them is so exciting I've been asked not to say anything about that because other people will steal the idea - and it is a great idea, quite challenging for us as performers. And the other one is a kind of behind-the-scenes-y... the truth
See the upping the production cost kind of ruined series 7
I can't wait for this.
Been such a huge fan of Red Dwarf ever since it first aired. I have all the origional episodes on VHS still. 3 per tape and 2 tapes per series. Also have all of the DVD's including the Bodysnatcher collction which has the remastered versions of series 1 to 3 on them.
Even my wife loves watching them with me now.
They couldn't leave series 8 the way they did. As fans I feel we at least need a bit of closure if they arn't planning on doing many extra episodes.
It was terrible towards the end, really badly not funny. Not sure how they can resurrect it tbh.
oooh love it
Robert Llewellyn mentions the new Red Dwarf a few times on his youtube channel.
The latest one is here
The other vids are pretty good too, especially the 'making do' series.
