Re: Peter Kay's Britain's Got the Pop Factor
Not many Peter Kay fans here :(
I think he is hilarious. I have just finished reading his autobiography and i found it very interesting, made me geuninely lol in places too :D
I didn\'t watch this show because i\'m not interested in x factor and strictly come dancing etc, and as such a parody of them doesn\'t really appeal to me.
Fair comments on the DVD front however. I was dissapointed to find that \'The Bolton Albert Halls\' was so simmilar to \'Top of the Tower\', but then i should have checked on that beforehand i suppose.

I had to sit through all 2 hours of the final with my gf cause she was ill :/
Re: Peter Kay\'s Britain\'s Got the Pop Factor
Im a big peter kay fan, so i was very shocked. It was utterly terrible, the worst tv comedy i have seen for years. The thing is that the actual x factor is quite funny - a parody of something at least has to be funnier then the thing its sending up, but this was tragic. It fell at the first hurdle then needed shooting like a lame horse. That gurgling is the sound of peter kays career going down the toilet.

Maybe she wouldn't have been ill had you watched another channel :P
And was Peter Kay ever funny? Even his early stuff I found to be a job of wadding through crap to find the odd golden nugget and haven't been able to bring myself to watch him at all for quite a while.
So many others more deserving of that air time :(

The annoying adverts for it looked bad enough, I'm glad I ignored it :)
Re: Peter Kay's Britain's Got the Pop Factor
Yeah, it was rubbish. I watched about 10 minutes of it, then periodically flicked back and forth now and then to see if it had got any better.
I wasn't expecting much right enough, the good material seemed to dry up after he fell out with his co-writers. Funny that
