    Banks for children

My kid is 7 So i want to transfer the money she has from pocket money birthdays etc to her own bank,my parents bank manager told me she needs to have a bank where she can write out how much money she is putting in her bank, and to see what she has in there,he told me that there wasn't many banks that still did bank books.

He did give me a website that asks you how much money would be in there etc then it would tell you whats best, but i cant remember the site

When I was a little'un, Abbey were the ones to go to, and you could do it so that though it was her account, you had to authorise the transactions

    Re: Banks for children

    queues are massive.

Their savings account takes about 30 days to withdraw anything from.

If you want a 3yr+ investment, you're probably better off just buying FTSE right now.
