I was feeling a tad bored and decided to visit my 'lab' downstairs. This was abandoned about a year ago ...and yup...it's still a right mess!! Will take me well over a month and some quality procrastination to clear it up
Managed to find my dremel in all the glorious mess and the 240v to 110v step-down transformer (since the Dremel was a gift from a friend in the states) and decided to file the hardened bits on the Bergeon 6825 spring bar tool.
Rolex being themselves, use a much thinner opening to access the spring bars, and as such the default 6825 with the FF (extra fine) tips does not work. End result,
A pretty easy way for removing and snapping bracelets back on. Took it apart yesterday to give it a bit of a clean and check out the laser engraving on both sides of the lugs for the first time. Zero scratches as well...pretty handy tool. This is the same thing they use at the RSC for checking your watch too...
