I am serious about the VTR, depending on the condition and price and I've heard some stories about it!

4 months is cool, I got the money waiting anyways

Well went there today, and pretty much agree with everything you said Agent.

Really can't see myself liking Loughs better than this place, especially with the poor course.

    Quick summary...

    - decent accomodation, located perfectly.... bit concerned there is no "common room's" anywhere in the halls...
    - decent sports facilities ...gym @ £90 a year... footy pitch and badminton cheap... within "roll out of bed" distance
    - course looks good, had chat with the main lecturer guy and he seems ok
    - town is abit bland, however the shops etc are within walking distance and I guess getting home via one bus and 2 trains aint too bad
    - deffo gonna sell the motor after talking with students there
    - there was actually a few nice ladies there... more than I expected at a computer campus
    - as you say, practically no night life... but things are only a bus ride away

Looks like ill be doing network engieering at staffs come october time :¬)

    Cheers for your advice chaps

If the halls are anything like the layout of the ones on the stoke campus then most people used the large kitchens for parties, etc (also very close to everyone's rooms which is nice... ). Also - you reckon you'll be staying in much? I know it hasn't got much night life but it does have some and you will be a student in your first year...

My halls here in liverpool are built in the form of flats, i share with three other friends... we each have our own bedroom and bathroom sharing the kitchen and living room. There ok but not a very sociable place to live, you need to know people in your block or whatever, otherwise u dont tend to mix outside your own flatmates there isnt the community i feel that there would be in 'traditional halls'

The nightlife no matter how small, you will use! Is there a freshers fair/week thingy? take advantage of it if there is
