What if you recieved a message from a dead person?

Hey, i was just wondering, like what if a friend sends you a delayed sms, the time things, you send them now and they get delivered later, for like 12am your birthday, and the guy dies after sending it, you attend the funeral etc and at 12am you get the sms from his number, and you're like, huh? you check and it says, " I might not be able to make it but hope you get this on time, happy birthday!" how would you feel about it?

or it could be those online greeting cards, I mean it could well be post, but thats not so shocking, since you know it comes late, but we see online communication and mobile messages as being instant and you almost always tend to forget that others might have scheduled them to be sent later.

you would obviously figure that out in a while, but I mean, the moment, how would you feel?

lol, cmon, I havnt had that happen to me, i was just wondering, coz i send alot of timed messages, like late night, i sleep late, when most of my friends are sleeping, so i send timed messages, which they get in the morning, while im sleeping so thats why I had the thought, then I thought some more and put the question here

to be honest, I havnt tried that, it just says, type in the number of hours after which you want the message to be sent, but im assuming it cant be more than 24 hours because most network providers discard messages after 24 hours, but yeah..if a server had like unlimited, you could set it up for a few years down the road...assuming the recipient has the same cell number then and has your number still saved with your name

Oh and to add to it, best thing would be that your phone gets destroyed in the accident you die in, so the number isn't used by any family member later, your friend would try to call back when he gets the message and it would just tell him that the number is not active anymore, that would be freaky!
