Smoked a couple of times, just to be sociable really and experience it.
Think it's a pretty disgusting habit tbh.

Never smoked. I just don't get the point.
Ive never smoked but im not one of these people who think people who do are some kind of leper, tbh it doesnt bother me wether people smoke or not, its their choice.
I Iz Smugger
Never seen the point in inhaling smoke and (hopefully) never will, though I know plenty of people that do.
So does anyone use one of these?
They are not exactly better, but come in a variety of flavours, strawberry, apple, mango, etc Just to clarify I've only ever used these once.
Used to smoke but stopped after first heart attack.

going to the pub and going to rock concerts is definaly alot more pleasant ever since the smoking ban.
Unfortunately a possible love interest smokes. I have told her that I dont like her Smoking but dono if she will quit.
I was hoping the smoking ban would make smoking Socially unacceptable. doesnt seem to have worked as hoped.
the problem is that alot of people still smoke and smoke in the bloody doorway... so you have to walk past them to go in or outside..... even thou the college premises are meant to be smoke free...
happerns other places as well but of course im at college quite alot so more noticeable.
Never started when younger (stands to reason it'll be tough if most of your getting addicted has already happened at school age). Didn't take it up later for various reasons - too hypochondriac, couldn't afford it, never particularly fancied it either.
Be interesting to know the figures for non-early-smokers taking it up later in their 20s/30s.
Happy birthday

Never smoked once in my life. I saw first hand what it did to my Dad which was, in a way, a good thing for me but still doesn't change the fact that it really affected him.
For once I won't go on at considerable length, I'll just say that I'm not physically addicted to smoking- I can easily go a day or three without a cig- I'm mentally addicted. For the time being I see no real reason to give up as I smoke no more than 5-8 cigs a day normally (had 5 today for example).
If I have kids- and I may not- I'll definitely give up then.
I've grown up with both parents smoking since before I was born - and when legislation/advertisment on the subject was very different - but have never seen the attraction of it so I've never smoked and don't intend to start.
I have smoked once or twice but was never a 'smoker'. I myself have nothing against other people smoking and will have the occasional one, but (I hope) I'll never be addicted.
