Next gaming lan event

hello. i missed the meet at bletchly park. and i was wondering when is the next gaming event that i could tag along to. never been to one before and they seems and look good fun. i dont know if ive posted this in the wrong place. but i didnt know where else to ask

The next GameOn lan should be around Feb time, and is looking to be one of the 150 player type affairs

Ahh i was going through the pictures and it does look like a good old time. just wondering if i need any achivements on here or is it free for anyone to go along... very very intrested. + those t-shirts look good

Do you know where it will be placed becuase the only problem i have is getting to these places. and if i can get there i will deffently come along. so you can most proberly count me in for the next one. who else will be going and how meny people normally go?

There are usually people offering lifts for those without transport.

Was there a seperate thread for that on here? i seem to think there was. GameOn usually have threads on it as well.

ahh cheers buddy. i assume i would get the train to as close as i can get then a lift from there? i assume it doesnt matter that im 17. but if needed i can get away with like 18/19

Yeah there is an actual race course station, but failing that Im sure someone could pick you up from the main station in the town.

R.E being under 18, I've lifted this straight from the main GO site.

Not at all, as long as your parents agree. Due to the LAN's being a minimum of 2 days, written consent from your parents is all that is needed. We are more than happy to speak to any parents that may have concerns... just contact us by posting on the LAN message board section or in the #GameOnLan IRC channel and we can arrange a phone call.

So i need to get permission from my perants. and il be away from a min of 2 days. its starting to sound better and better woOp. im sure they wouldnt say no. but i have college to attend to on mondays tuesdays and thursdays and work on fridays but im sure i could get a day off. but im hoping its not duing the week.
