well, perhaps in having them on Hexus will encourage them to provide to us over here...in much the same way ebuyer operates a UK and US site, maybe this is the begining of a beautiful [and hopefully cheap for us] relationship?...

That's how advertising works. You click, every click is a hit, every hit is a penny towards whoever is hosting the sponsors etc.
Its a referal thing. Called an affiliate scheme iirc. They know if you came to their site through an ad on a certain website- hexus in this case and so they pay the cash for the ammount of people refered to them.so we click on these ad's to get them to pay our sponser money?
Not being funny guys, but why are you debating why companies are wanting to spend money with us?
Over 65% of our readership is US based, not so much on our forums but they also have something going up on the main site too.
