I am after buying a new computer desk.
I have checked Argos, Ikea and Staples, but none have the design of desk I have in mind.
What other shops have good computer desks? Preferable an actual store rather than an internet business.
Thanks

What design are you after?
The corner desk I bought (years ago) was available in Staples for around £170 but I managed to pick it up from Makro for just over £100 (thank God)
I got mine from PC world

Not always the easiest solution, but I set up a search on eBay so that when anybody in a 30 mile radius of me listed an item in the Office Furniture - Desks section with the word "desk" in the title I got an email notification. Found what I was looking for within a week, a nice corner unit, with pedestal for £40 from an office liquidation, I held out for a good quality "commercial" desk too, costs somewhere around £300 new.... Only drawback is that you need your own transport e.g. friend with a van or people carrier
I got mine from Next
Although there's a stack of internet companies out there selling home/office furniture - I've ordered a new '24 Hour' operator chair from one of them

I've got one here as well, the 1.40m wide one. I even went really "studenty" and got 2 Antonius shelves that matched the desk and some bricks from B&Q (which was quite some effort to find one that stocked bricks! Had to go to MK in the end). 3 bricks stacked (195mm) is the perfect height for DVDs/Games.
The desk was £40, the shelves about £3 each, and £6 for 12 bricks.
Thanks for all the replies guys, I have checked out all of the suggestions but I still cant find what im looking for! Surprisingly Next had some really nice office furniture, but not in the style that im after.
Because my computer is in my main living room which has all dark wood/mahogony furniture, I need the desk to fit in. Im after a plain desk, rather than a workstation so that it fits in well in the living room.
The kind of desk im after is a dark wood plain desk, with draws on both sides, a bit like this but in dark wood and draws on the left hand side also, insead of the cupboard for the computer tower:
If anybody has got a desk like what im describing or has seen one anywhere, please help
I cant think of where else to now look!
EDIT: Just found the PERFECT desk in a catalogue I had at home (www.furnitureatwork.co.uk) which would look modern while still fitting in my living room, and here is a pic:
However, it is £245 for the desk, then £139 for each drawer on each side, so that totals to £523
