Unlucky Salazaar, looks like you're going to have to pay for it to be repaired Though if you ring them don't mention the fact you know its out of warranty, unless you've registered it they probably won't know, or they may not notice that it is out of warranty.

I'm going to give it a try though I'm not holding my breath. Otherwise I've got a friend who may be able to get hold of a b-grade/return that they're selling off cheap to staff where he works.
