    Courier for projector

Can anyone recommend a courier service suitable for projector delivery? I am willing to pay a bit more for peace of mind but it would be handy if the item can be insured for up to £1000 (or better yet £1500).

At the moment, I am considering Parcel2Go but if memory serves right, they have a whole lot of restrictions as to what they will cover. I vaguely remember that CRT monitor isn't one of them, hence I worry about using them for Projectors.

I am also considering RM Special Delivery and ParcelForce, but I am open to feedback and suggestions.

If I remember right RM special delivery will do insurance up to £2500. Pretty sure there's a 10kg limit, so it depends on how big your projector is.

They also do a sameday courier service now, with up to £20k insurance not sure on weight limits though, give their website a prod, probably the best bet.

You know if it's wrapped and packed really well you really shouldn't worry about it getting damaged. If you want to have peace of mind then RMSD is insured to £2500 (Up to 10Kg) for £22~ iirc. It's the only one I can think of.

Thanks. I know ParcelForce has a 'Glassware not included' policy similar to DHL - do I take it that it's going to be the same as RMSD? I am guessing that the lens is made of glass.
