Sounds like the sort of thing my wife has to put up with at the nursery where she works (except the parents aren't that young). Just makes you want to bang your head against a wall. Bringing them in when they're ill and contagious ("oh yeah, he had a little bit of 'tummy trouble' last night, but he's perfectly fine now"), being talked down to like she doesn't know what she's doing, despite working there 11 years. Technically it's a private day nursery, but they are in a Surestart building at the moment whilst they get their new premises sorted out.

Yup, it certainly does want to make you bang your head agaisnt a brick wall, I also work for a Pre-School as After School Club Manager, and turned away one Child who announced he'd been sick the day before, managed to catch Mum outside who when told I couldn't take her Son because of the 48 hour sickness policy, said "It's never been a problem before?" and "I better not get charged for this!" I was appalled as this Woman is herself a Primary School Teacher! so should know better than anyone!

This is why I love Creche so much, as I don't see the same eejits day in day out. I don't work in one particular place, can get sent to any Surestart Centre in Shropshire to run a Creche. I have a job interview coming up as a permanent Creche leader for Centre Services instead of just being sessional, it would mean I can give up working till 6 and just do the one job instead of 3 ( am also on PrepCare LLP's books as a Nursery Nurse lol, how bloody stupid am I lol )

Havent read the whole thread but find the whole thing disturbing from what I saw on the news with morning.
She should have the child taken off of her.
Who instigated this, she was 15 and he was 13 and from looking at the pair of them she seems more likely to have started anything.
Apparently more "boys" have stepped forward and claim that they could be the father.

The problem is you cant do a huge amount due to all this human rights bollocks, I say take the kids off of them, send them for councilling and give the babies to a family that cant have but want children or have them aborted before birth.

This is just madness! Having sex under the age of sixteen is still against the law, the baby should be taken away and put with resposible adults (obvioulsy not the parents in this case) and the kids should be sterilised, otherwise they will just continue to have a string of babies (not necessarily with each other) and be like so many teenage kids, living off our taxes.

If society can do nothing else these days it should re-introduce the chastity belt
